While talk therapy focuses on insight, mindset shifts, and cognitive processing, Somatic Therapy supports you in gently connecting with your body, where physical sensations, patterns, and protective responses live well beyond logical thought.

Instead of talking about your experiences, Somatic Therapy is a body-first approach that works with your body allowing stuck stress, trauma, emotions, protective responses (like fight, flight, freeze, fawn), and old stories to be safely felt, integrated, and then released.

(Without having to relive or rehash the past.)

Trauma-Informed Somatic Therapy Case Study Sessions

As part of my advanced certification in Trauma-Informed Somatic Therapy, I’m opening a handful of low-cost 1:1 case study sessions designed to help you feel at home in your body again.

This session will guide you through:

  • Resourcing the part of you that is stuck in overthinking, so you can relax without micromanaging every thought.

  • Processing stuck emotions (grief, shame, fear) in a safe, gentle way, without reliving the past.

  • Building a true relationship with your body, so you can respond to triggers with compassion instead of criticism.

At the End of Our Time Together, You Will:

  • Understand how your nervous system responds to stress so you can reduce overwhelm.

  • Have at least 2-3 somatic tools to calm your mind and body in moments of overwhelm.

  • Feel empowered with greater self-awareness and a deeper connection to your body.
